Pay: $56.00 - $66.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

The Salesforce Product Owner for the DSM Tracker (DSMT) is responsible for owning the product backlog and guiding the agile delivery of a Salesforce-based solution supporting Demand Side Management (DSM) program tracking. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the Salesforce delivery team, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered according to Agile best practices.
The Product Owner drives product vision and day-to-day product decisions by managing and prioritizing the backlog, writing and refining user stories, and accepting completed work—keeping development focused on high value outcomes—so delivered functionality meets business objectives, agreed acceptance criteria, quality standards, and aligns with Salesforce best practices.
Responsibilities
- Defines and manages product roadmap
- Build, groom and prioritize the product backlog, continuously managing expectations with relevant stakeholders - including the senior leadership team
- Manage the sprint planning process and participate in all relevant ceremonies (reviews of prior sprints, grooming, retrospectives, etc.)
- Develop a deep contextual understanding of our customer, worker and user needs
- Gather market feedback through user interactions, focus groups, and by performing industry research to support future development
- Write detailed functional specifications, user stories and product documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, designers and analysts to implement and deliver new products and features
- Collaborate with the organization on vision, strategy, decisioning, tactical execution, and measurement systems
- Communicate roadmap stages and timelines internally with key stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial with a strong inclination towards action.
- Ability to communicate complex and innovative concepts to a new product development team
- Clear passion for topics of technology products and an ability to identify possibilities to innovate
- Ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to build relationships
- Understanding of the SDLC process and the ability to work in an agile environment with bi-weekly releases
- Experience operating in an environment driven by KPIs where you have the accountability to determine the best course of action to meet your goals
- 5 or more years working in utility industry
- Experience as a Product Analyst
- Agile Product Owner certification
- "Black Belt" Six Sigma certification
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with Salesforce
- Experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience with relevant new product or technology development experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with teams developing and shipping software
