Plumbing Design Technician Intermediate

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Plumbing Design Technician Intermediate to join an engineering company in Cincinnati, OH. This is a 6-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.


Pay: $33.00 - $43.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.


Description:

• Produce plumbing (domestic hot and cold water, waste and vent and storm water) designs for construction by modeling in Revit.
• Coordinate plumbing designs with other disciplines
• Review and respond to RFI's and shop drawings
  
  

Qualifications:

• 10 years, reduces to 5 years with an Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, of practical application experience of plumbing design, including waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water related to building systems
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, with the client, and construction team
• Proficient working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software
• General working knowledge of plumbing codes
• An understanding of clash detection, clash resolution and building system coordination
• Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
• This role is staffed out of our Cincinnati office as a hybrid position with majority of time worked remote, and approximately 2 days per week in the office on average as needed for projects
