Primary Services is actively recruiting for a Project Procurement Specialist to support a large organization through a long-term contract opportunity. This role leads end-to-end project procurement activities by coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, executing strategic sourcing strategies, managing supplier agreements, and ensuring procurement efforts align with project schedules, policies, and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project procurement activities with Legal, Project Management, Business Unit stakeholders, and other applicable teams.
- Develop and execute RFP strategies for project-specific scopes of work and evaluate supplier responses to provide sourcing recommendations.
- Create and execute directly negotiated Statements of Work that deliver commercial value and meet stakeholder requirements.
- Manage negotiations for Master Agreements by partnering with internal legal, environmental, and insurance stakeholders.
- Lead weekly meetings with project stakeholders to ensure procurement activities remain aligned with project timelines.
- Develop presentations and approval materials to support sourcing decisions for business unit and procurement leadership.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Identify, develop, and qualify new vendors to support upcoming project needs.
- Manage multiple procurement activities while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field required.
- 5 years of experience in RFP management and strategic sourcing required.
- 5-7 years of professional procurement experience required.
- Experience managing supplier negotiations, agreements, and sourcing strategies.
- Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional procurement projects and stakeholder activities.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract lifecycle management.
