Primary Services is excited to announce the Operations Analyst – Shop Services role at a large, well-established organization. This position plays a critical role in supporting shop operations through data analysis, reporting accuracy, and administrative coordination. The Operations Analyst will partner with operational leadership to ensure efficiency, cost control, and compliance across key processes, leveraging data-driven insights to support decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Review work orders with supervision for accuracy and completeness.
- Compare labor hours across similar work activities to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Close work orders and production orders within SAP systems.
- Analyze workload reports to identify and resolve errors.
- Support production order catalog creation and ongoing updates.
- Perform cost analysis comparing in-house work versus outsourced services.
- Evaluate tool repair costs against replacement costs to support financial decisions.
- Maintain equipment master records and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Track and manage tool inventory and repair activities.
- Assist in maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures and operational documentation.
- Support payroll reporting and time correction processes.
- Process invoices and create purchase orders and contract requests.
- Utilize procurement and financial systems for operational support activities.
- Maintain internal SharePoint sites and update shop-related web content.
- Coordinate scheduling updates, including vacation and sick calendars.
- Communicate operational updates through Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a general office or operations support environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience with SAP, including work orders, production orders, and equipment masters preferred.
- Familiarity with procurement and financial systems such as Coupa or similar platforms preferred.
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic mathematical and analytical skills for cost evaluation and reporting.
- Experience maintaining documentation, reports, and operational records.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
