The Logistics Coordinator will oversee daily supply chain activities, ensuring smooth operations from shipment pick-up to delivery. This role lets you use your logistics, shipping, and transportation expertise to support key business development initiatives and improve operational processes for top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily supply chain operations and logistics activities.
- Organize and manage documentation for customer needs, service provider partnerships, production, and transportation.
- Ensure safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
- Review, prepare, and route purchase orders, bills of lading, and other operational documents.
- Monitor shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity metrics.
- Respond to customer inquiries efficiently and accurately.
- Address and resolve shipment and inventory issues.
- Track and manage key performance indicators to maintain operational efficiency.
- Analyze and optimize logistical processes for superior service delivery.
- Support national and regional business development and supply chain management initiatives.
- Monitor, evaluate, and address service provider performance.
- Discuss and negotiate minor service provider pricing issues.
- Maintain and update internal system information regularly.
Qualifications:
- University degree in business administration, logistics, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of logistics management experience preferred.
- Experience in account management and customer service preferred.
- Knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements in logistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- Understanding of ERP systems preferred.
- Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills.
