What are the responsibilities and job description for the Escrow Analyst position at Primary Residential Mortgage?
- Reviews and modifies tax, MIP/PMI, and insurance buckets and researches escrow shortages and overages
- Creates custom audit reports in Mortgage Builder (MB) and Excel
- Engages in collaboration efforts with software vendor support personnel in generating monthly audits
- Creates overage checks, matching them with batch print outs and sending them to customers monthly
- Corresponds with customers explaining the results of the analysis and responds to inquiries regarding payment changes and escrow requirements in an understanding and professional manner
- Calculates initial escrow projections to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of customer inquiries regarding the analysis process, payment changes, escrow payments, and audit timelines
- Documents accurate records of audits, overage checks, escrow refunds and customer dialogue
