What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Analyst position at Primary Recruiting Services?
Our client, a growing, privately held company and leader in their space is seeking a Tax Analyst to join its tax team at it's HQ in Seattle.
This is a strong opportunity for a staff-level tax professional who wants broad exposure across multiple areas of tax rather than getting siloed into one narrow lane. The role will support domestic corporate tax compliance while also gaining exposure to partnership, international, state, indirect tax, audit support, and year-end reporting matters. Some huge benefits are 12% 401k contribution annually after year 1, as well as overtime paid hourly, and 100% medical paid for by our client.
What our client is looking for:
- 1-3 years of tax experience, ideally around 2 years
- Corporate tax compliance experience is strongly preferred
- Exposure to 1120s, state filings, and multi-entity environments
- Partnership exposure is helpful but not required
- CPA not required

What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing federal, state, and international income tax filings
- Supporting 1120s, 1065s, 5471s, and related compliance workpapers
- Assisting with estimates, extensions, tax notices, audits, and year-end reporting
- Supporting additional filings such as property tax, withholding, licenses, and indirect tax requirements
- Contributing to process improvements, tax research, and reporting automation
