Primary PartnerCare is a primary care enterprise founded by physicians and healthcare executives that believe in large scale private practice and the new value-based models. We are proud to be the # 1 Medicare Shared Savings Program ACO and the only adult primary care integrated medical group with practice sites across Long Island/Queens. We are seeking a Regional Manager for Long Island 1 site in Queens with large scale medical group expertise. Company Headquarters is Great Neck, and job is Nassau and Suffolk Counties. You will be in Great Neck office for training and onboarding. Position is 4 days at week at practice locations and 1/2 day per week in Great Neck HQ.


Background

The right candidate has a masters degree (bachelors degree and primary care expertise a good substitute); has worked with large, multi-site medical groups (primary care a big plus); is passionate about data-driven decision-making and performance management; understands the new models of care delivery and payment such as value-based care; appreciates the key role the front desk plays in revenue cycle; can easily learn and teach anything related to EMRs and healthcare technology; is entrepreneurial, confident with a lot of GRIT to build a better system of healthcare, especially for the Medicare patients we serve.


Responsibilities and Duties

The Regional Manager will work as part of a bright, innovative management team to direct and coordinate operational activities, and create a culture of work that embraces excellence, collegiality and "group think" through physician collaboration on projects, initiatives, and practice operations that transition their primary care practices to models for population health and outcomes based excellence. This of course starts with superior practice operations and frontend RCM.

You will be assigned a territory and sites to oversee and manage from A to Z and everything in-between!


Qualifications and Skills

  • Large scale medical group operations, and growth (including policies & procedures, training programs for staff, benchmarking and performance improvement)
  • Physician operations, on-boarding, performance tracking, and operational management
  • RCM Operations experience as it relates to frontend practice operations
  • Proven experience building efficiencies in practice operations including medical assistant workflows as well as front desk and practice site manager oversight
  • Team building, staff development and mentoring
  • Operational workflows and efficiencies, and managing to KPIs
  • Financial management - understanding to explain clinical and administrative performance to physicians and office managers
  • Leadership and change management skills to meld independent physician practices into common culture and “group-think”


Requirements

  • 7 years’ experience large scale medical group operations (independent preferred)
  • Understanding of managed care models such as value-based, population health, PCMH
  • 5 years’ experience, RCM Operations (frontend at practice site)
  • Excellent leadership with proven innovative approaches to solving problems
  • Entrepreneur by nature with demonstrated success in fast-paced, start-up or turn-around environments that require GRIT
  • Analytical approach to decision-making and strategy development' you manage using KPIs and are always wiling to teach and work on improving each site's scores
  • Natural leader that thrives on change, excellence and achieving the impossible, with demonstrated success leading physicians and a growing workforce
  • Willingness and desire to take current knowledge, master new knowledge and work as part of a management team to build out this new group of primary care physicians
  • Six sigma training/certification preferred
