Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Office Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can maintain a welcoming environment and ensure smooth office operations.
Duties
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar for the office.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document management.
- Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall office functions.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Medical Insurances including understanding of Government Plans, PPO, HMO, and State Funded Insurance Plans.
- Understand and articulate third party and patient financial responsibilities to patients.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient computer literacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong clerical skills including filing and document management.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
