Job description
We are looking for a medical receptionist with excellent customer service experience, organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
MUST have a minimum of 1 year experience in a medical setting.
- Compassionate in their ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Be professional with excellent communication skills that will contribute to the day-to-day efficiency of the healthcare facility.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD and CPT coding.
- Customer service skills are very important, Telephones, Appointments Schedules.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have good computer skills and strong attention to details.
- Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.
- Making appointments for patients
- Submitting referrals and pre-authorizations for referred doctors
- Submitting pre-authorization’s for medications
- Communicating with Insurers
- Front office clerical filing, Medical Records
- Documentation in EMR
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) language proficiency
