Medical Receptionist
Location: Prescott / Prescott Valley, Arizona
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays and payments as appropriate
- Process incoming faxes, correspondence, and other documentation
- Scan and upload documents into electronic medical records
- Maintain accurate patient information and records
- Provide general information and assistance to patients and visitors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Collaborate effectively with providers, clinical staff, and administrative team members
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Previous clerical, customer service, or receptionist experience preferred
- Prior healthcare or medical office experience preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Proficient computer and keyboarding skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude

Pre-Employment Requirements
- Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
