Shift: 2nd Shift (1:30PM-12:00am Monday-Thursday)
With a Monday to Thursday schedule, enjoy a 3 day weekend every week!

Job Summary

The Production-Warehouse Associate supports both warehouse and production operations by safely handling materials, maintaining accurate inventory and production records, preparing and staging supplies, assisting with production and shipping activities, and maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas. A Production-Warehouse Associate demonstrates strong communication, organizational skills, and initiative to maintain seamless and safe processes in the warehouse and production areas.

Responsibilities

• Safely and legally operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, pallet wrapper, ladders, shelving, etc.
• Remove and palletize scrap wind-up rolls. Bring pallets of scrap to the baler and bale materials when needed
• Operate industrial baler/compactor and properly sort, organize, store, and prepare plastic materials for recycling.
• Assist with weighing and labeling bales and rolls
• Assist as needed with pulling and putting away finished goods, loading outgoing orders, and unloading incoming trucks, ensuring the correct product is received and our products are shipped accurately and on time.
• Accurately label, reconcile, and store in warehouse boxes, pallets, finished goods, and production supplies with necessary information, including contents, quality, date received, etc.
• Verify and record data on reconciliation sheets and/or in the computer system in a prompt and accurate manner.
• Monitor, restock, and stage production lines with raw materials including boxes, plastic, liners, pallets and other supplies to ensure production operates smoothly during the shift and to prepare for the next shift
• Maintain organization of supplies and finished products according to the warehouse storage plan
• Make sure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and ensure that labels match the job traveler
• Resupply the ends of the production lines as needed.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing production and warehouse areas. Ensure thermoforming machines, workspaces, and the production floor are cleaned to daily standards to ensure safety and smooth functioning
• Assist in operating production lines as needed to cover absences or breaks. Duties include gathering produced parts, inspecting the product for defects and raising any quality concerns to the appropriate personnel, counting, packing, wrapping, boxing and labeling finished goods
• Maintain knowledge of the inline thermoforming machines
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience with operating warehouse equipment safely
• Must have a keen eye for quality and be detail-oriented
• Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English
• Ability to promote and follow safe workplace practices
• Strong communication skills and a cooperative attitude

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting of up to 40 pounds frequently, and up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Frequently reaching, grabbing, twisting and bending
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Extended periods of concentration while safely operating machinery

This position is considered safety-sensitive, as it involves operating heavy machinery in a manufacturing environment. Employees must maintain full cognitive and physical ability to perform tasks safely.
