Green City Demolition (A Priestly Demolition Inc Company) is seeking a team orientated Estimator with more than 10 years of experience. The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and timely full-cost estimates for demolition and construction projects, including materials, labor, and other relevant factors. The role includes maintaining updated databases of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors, as well as establishing unit costs, labor rates, productivity benchmarks, and geographic cost factors. The Estimator may be required to attend client meetings and job site visits to gather project data and build strong client relationships.
Accuracy is essential - underestimates can result in financial losses, while overestimates may reduce competitiveness and cost the company valuable contracts. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Job Duties
- Prepare accurate estimates using internal systems, standardized processes, and technology.
- Attend job site visits to gather data as necessary.
- Deliver professional, timely estimates to clients.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, including outreach for new opportunities.
- Follow up on sales leads and proposal submissions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Perform quantitative takeoffs and apply cost-estimating principles to demolition and construction projects.
- Generate detailed quotations using estimating software.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications effectively, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction, engineering, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of cost estimating experience.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and as-built drawings.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills for estimating and interpreting cost reports.
- Skilled in the use of cost-estimating software. Experience with Bluebeam, B2W Estimate, and PlanSwift is an asset.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with state Health and Safety regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Commitment to continuous learning and maintaining current job knowledge.
- Maintains a respectful and professional demeanor in the workplace.
- Ability to select appropriate tools and equipment for tasks.
- Knowledge of safe operation of hand and power tools.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
