Cutback Saw Operator

Pries is looking for an Cutback Saw Operator to add to our team! No previous experience needed!

This position is an 8 hour shift from 2pm-10pm pm 10pm-6am Monday-Friday and a possible Saturday depending on production. Starting at up to $22 per hour! Some overtime required depending on current production demands

Duties Include

• Verify order length of metal in Epics, confirm die profile to work order
• Verify cut tolerance
• Inspect material for defects, and burr after cut. Scrap metal found to be defective
• Position guides according to specifications of cut
• Check saw stop, blade and blade lubrication, of the material, chip collector and chip barrel.
• Instruct saw help in keeping up with production and upholding quality standards, Team of 1 or 2
• Ensure the stacking equipment is aligning material properly in the rack per balance standards
• Create rack setups that ensure protection and prevent damage of metal
• Direct saw help employees to ensure proper packing and stacking of material
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety Department
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
• Clean and organize your work area
