Production Supervisor Job Description:

PrideStaff is partnering with a local warehouse who is in search of a Bilingual Production Supervisor. The Production Supervisor will manage schedules, analyze production data, support new product launches and monitor inventory and forecast needs according to production schedules. The ideal Production Supervisor is fluent in English and Spanish, has 2 years or more of production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain with excellent communication and Excel skills. The Production Supervisor is a full time, temp to hire position in Southaven, MS.

Production Supervisor Job Responsibilities:

• Create & Maintain Comprehensive Production Schedules to Meet Customer Demands & Business Objectives
• Coordinate With Procurement, Manufacturing, & Logistics Teams to Ensure Timely Availability of Materials & Resources
• Monitor Production Progress & Adjust Schedules as Needed to Accommodate Changes in Priorities or Capacity
• Analyze Production Data & Metrics to Identify Bottlenecks, Inefficiencies, & Opportunities For Improvement
• Communicate Schedule Changes & Production Updates to Relevant Departments
• Collaborate With Sales & Customer Service Teams to Manage Order Fulfillment Timelines & Expectations
• Maintain Accurate Inventory Records & Forecast Material Requirements For Upcoming Production Runs
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives to Optimize Production Processes & Planning Systems
• Generate Reports on Production Performance, Capacity Utilization, & Delivery Metrics
• Support New Product Launches by Coordinating Production Trials & Ramp-up
• Follow All Safety & PPE Requirements

Production Supervisor Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma Or Equivalent Required
• Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or Related Field Required
• 2-4 Years of Experience in Production Planning, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Coordination
• Bilingual in English & Spanish Highly Desired
• Strong Proficiency With ERP Systems & Production Planning Software
• Excellent Analytical Skills With The Ability to Interpret Data & Make Informed Decisions
• Outstanding Organizational Abilities & Attention to Detail
• Effective Communication Skills, Both Written & Verbal, With Ability to Collaborate Across Teams
• Proven Problem-Solving Skills & The Ability to Work Under Pressure
• Proficient With MS Excel & Other Applications
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles & Continuous Improvement Methodologies
• Ability to Prioritize Multiple Tasks & Adapt to Changing Business Needs
