What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Injury Paralegal position at PrideStaff?
We are seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal for a fully onsite, direct hire position in Hillsborough, NJ.
Hours: M-F 9am-5pm
Personal Injury Paralegal Salary: $50-70K (depending on experience)
Personal Injury Legal Assistant Responsibilities:
- Managing plaintiff's personal injury cases from initial client intake through trial
- Gathering medical records and bills
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and answers to interrogatories
- Obtaining expert reports
- Preparing arbitration statements and trial information statements
- Assisting in the disbursement of settled cases
- Communicating with adjusters, defense counsel, and the Court
Personal Injury Legal Assistant Requirements:
- Recently acquired a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice
- Willingness to learn all stages of a personal injury case including client intake, pre-litigation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
