Key Responsibilities
- Device Repair & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical medical devices, including assembling and disassembling equipment down to the component level.
- Time Management: Achieve daily production goals by completing repairs efficiently within established time objectives of approximately 2.5 hours per device.
- Quality Assurance: Perform regular testing, quality control (QC) checks, and functional inspections on a variety of devices.
- Documentation: Complete detailed, accurate, and legible service reports to describe the repairs and maintenance performed.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain positive and helpful communication with coworkers and customers to resolve technical issues effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
Must-Haves:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Hands-on soldering experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical or electrical equipment.
- Ability to work quickly and confidently to meet established time benchmarks.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior experience specifically working with medical equipment is a significant plus.
- Technical certification or an AA degree in a technical field.
