Industrial Sales Specialist Job Description:

PrideStaff is working with a local manufacturing company who is seeking an Industrial Sales Specialist to join their team. The Industrial Sales Specialist will lead sales growth for a specialized bag division which includes FIBC/bulk bags, woven polypropylene bags, BOPP, paper bags, and sandbags while leveraging our full product portfolio. The Industrial Sales Specialist position is a field-based role focused on driving revenue through aggressive prospecting, regular on-site customer visits, and rekindling inactive accounts. The ideal Industrial Sales Specialist will organically scale sales using an established process, applying a solution-based approach to navigate 1 to 6 month sales cycles, while capturing market share and converting new contacts into business opportunities. The Industrial Sales Specialist position is a full-time or part-time, direct hire position in Champlin, MN.

Industrial Sales Specialist Job Responsibilities:

• Lead Sales Efforts For Bulk Bag & Industrial Packaging Lines to Meet Established Targets
• Identify, Prospect, & Secure Targeted Accounts Through Strategic Lead Generation, Site Visits, & Presentation
• Oversee The Full Sales Lifecycle From Prospecting to Closing, Maintaining a Healthy Pipeline Using CRM Systems
• Lead Client Contract & Pricing Negotiations to Maximize Profitability While Managing The Bulk Bag Budget
• Cultivate a Deep Understanding of Clients’ Businesses to Align Customer Packaging Solutions With Their Growth Objections
• Stay Ahead of Industry Trends, Products, & Competitors by Attending Trade Shows, Sales Meetings, & Workshops

Industrial Sales Specialist Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

• High School Diploma Required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• 3 Years in Outbound Sales, Preferably in FIBC’s, Industrial Packaging, or Automated Equipment
• Demonstrated Success in Hunting, Securing New Business, & Effectively Closing Deals
• Proficient in Consultative, Solution, & Value-Based Selling Techniques
• Demonstrates Strong Interpersonal Skills With Advanced Negotiation Capabilities & Technical Aptitude
• Proficient in MS Office Including Excel, Outlook, & CRMs, With Strong Financial/Mathematical Computation Skills
• Self-Motivated Independent Worker Comfortable With High-Volume Outbound Calling & Team Collaboration
• Holds a Current Driver’s License & The Ability to Travel Extensively
