General Description:
This position will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders and preparing orders for shipping in a timely and accurate manner. This position works in a team environment with set guidelines to uphold BRS quality standards, established deadlines and safe work habits to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled efficiently.
This is a full time, day shift position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Selects products by SKU and descriptions using a handheld scanner to fulfill orders.
- Examines all products related to customer orders
- Use basic math skills to count, measure, weigh or otherwise verify information and products selected against customers’ orders or other records related to orders.
- Prepare items for shipping by inspecting for damage, cleaning, and bagging parts if necessary
- Pack orders in a safe, neat and professional manner
- Uses order fulfillment software to print shipping labels and affix to customer packaging.
- Sort packages according to destination and shipping carrier.
- Must meet daily shipping schedule deadlines.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established procedures.
- Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality
- Other duties and projects as needed.
Work Experience and Abilities:
- 1 year of order fulfillment, shipping, manufacturing, warehouse or other relevant fast paced experience (preferred)
- Organized, detail oriented and ability to concentrate on fine detail with interruptions.
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Thrive in a high-energy, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
