Manufacturing Technician needed for a manufacturing company in Tustin CA.
Temporary to Hire position paying $24/hr. Hours are 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday.

Essential Responsibilities:
Mixing of raw materials to create finished products according to the batch sheets. Also responsible for weighing the correct chemicals and sampling finished product to quality for approval.
Duties will include:
- Using master formulation sheets, perform the manufacture of products through various methods (i.e.; timed sequences of mixing and/or heating/cooling, standing, de-gassing, straining)
- Issue daily batch sheets.
- Ensure all frozen or solidified material is melted in a timely manner for production’s use.
- Monitor inventory stock and determine which products need to be produced or re-stocked for manufacturing area. Issue inventory sheets to myself and fellow co-workers in unison with
shipping’s projected orders. - Triple check all formulas before filing paperwork that is reviewed by auditor.
- Monitor on-hand quantities of raw materials and keep Manufacturing Supervisor advised of those
amounts. - Responsible for daily checks of mechanical equipment for maintenance and safety troubleshooting.
- Ensure that the aisles between stock in the manufacturing department are wide and cleaned daily.
- Verify that lot control and documentation procedures, as well as those of double-checking, are being
followed daily. - Responsible for informing supervisor of any unusual differences in viscosity, odor, color, granularity, origin of goods, etc. before proceeding with the manufacture of the product.
- Work with QC & R&D on procedures in manufacturing first articles and existing batches.
- Employee might need to use Personal Protective Equipment like goggles and respirator.
Daily Duties:
- Maintain Finished Product Inventory Board.
- Remove trash.
- After use, store all flammables in proper receptacles.
- At the end of the day, perform checks on drum seals, electrical feeds, electronic scales, equipment positions, etc.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and/or.
- 5 years in compounding or similar chemical related manufacturing.
- Use of a respirator is a plus.
Skills:
