Maintenance Technician
Our client has been producing custom manufactured, superior quality elastomeric (rubber, thermoplastic, products for over 35 years.
Job Summary :
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all equipment is in top shape and regularly maintained, assisting in scheduling preventative maintenance, and working with other members of the maintenance team on safety and equipment operation, among other duties. This is a hand-on position where your skills will be key to success.
Essential Functions :
Ensure all shop equipment is operational
Maintain company facilities
Execute Preventative Maintenance Schedules
Maintain all documentation as necessary
Support and work with external maintenance vendors Qualifications
Trade school or relevant experience. High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of previous mechanical and experience
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical systems and controls.
Experience with electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, design, fabrication, heat and cooling systems, and plumbing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
OSHA Safety Certification preferred.
Compensation : Up to $27 / hr Depending on Experience and Qualifications
Work Schedule : M-F, 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm
