What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry-level Machine Operators (1st and 2nd shift) position at PrideStaff?
PrideStaff is currently seeking 1st & 2nd shift Entry-level Machine Operators for a Manufacturing company located in Monee, Illinois.
1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Mon-Fri
2nd shift: 2:30pm-1:00am Mon-Thurs
**Both shifts MUST be able to train on a mid-shift 9am-5:30pm for the first few weeks
$19.00 per hour
These are temp-to-hire positions! Weekly paycheck! Insurance and OT available!
Typical duties will include:
- Perform basic entry-level machine operator duties
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Cell Lead
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
- Support continuous improvement efforts
Requirements:
- Technical capacity
- Initiative
- Teamwork-oriented
- Attention to detail
- Able to Read Blue Prints PREFERRED
- Able to Use Measuring Devises, (caliper, micrometer & Height Gage) PREFERRED
