3rd Shift Stand Up Forklift Operator (8pm to 4:30am)

PrideStaff is currently seeking a 3rd Shift Stand Up Forklift Operator for a refrigerated/freezer distribution warehouse located in Ontario, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour to startMonday – Friday 8pm to 4:30amJob Duties: *** MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN A COLD ENVIRONMENT ***Environment is typically 34 degrees and freezers are below zero!Operate equipment safely and efficiently (equipment to include, but not limited to stand up forklifts, stand up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallet jacks, double pallet jacks and radio frequency equipment, yard trucks)Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe mannerNo case selection or case pick, all freight is handled in full-pallet quantity.Move product to storage areas with proper equipment.Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damageAssist in maintaining the security of the warehouseConduct operations in a manner, which promotes safetyMaintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environmentComply with OSHA standardsReport all safety malfunctions on equipmentParticipate in physical inventories, as neededPerform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as neededMust be able to meet production standardsCharge or change forklift battery, as neededPerform other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as neededJob Requirements:Must have at least 3 years of experience on the Stand Up Forklift within a warehouse environment. Must be able to pass a forklift performance test prior to start.Racking-3 years’ experienceMust have experience working in a refrigerated warehouse. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, at a regular pace, throughout the assigned shiftMust be able to stand, walk, lift, bend, and pull throughout the shift.Job stability and positive, verifiable work referencesMust have steel toe/composite protective-toe boots.Outstanding attendance is critical for success in this position.
