Position Overview

PrideStaff is seeking a goal-oriented and customer-focused B2B Collections Specialist to join a growing team in Glen Rock, NJ. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of business-to-business accounts, work directly with clients to resolve outstanding balances, and help maintain healthy financial operations.

This is a Direct Hire opportunity offering a convenient hybrid schedule (onsite Monday through Thursday, remote on Friday).

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of B2B accounts and proactively follow up on past-due balances.
• Outbound Outreach: Conduct approximately 50–100 collection calls daily to discuss payment statuses.
• Client Communication: Reach out to clients via phone and email to resolve account delinquencies while maintaining positive, professional business relationships.
• Payment Negotiation: Negotiate feasible, mutually beneficial payment plans and process customer payments accurately.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment delays, and complex account issues, escalating matters when appropriate.
• Account Maintenance: Document all collection activities, communications, and payment arrangements accurately in the account system.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Language Skills: Bilingual Spanish fluency is required (spoken and written).
• Experience: Prior experience in B2B collections, accounts receivable, or business client outreach preferred.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a diplomatic, customer-centric approach to negotiations.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient with basic computer applications, accounting software, and data entry.
• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accurate documentation practices.
• Schedule: Ability to work onsite in Glen Rock, NJ Monday–Thursday, and work remotely on Fridays.
