Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents warmly and provide comprehensive tours of available units and community amenities
- Assist applicants with leasing applications, ensuring all documentation complies with Fair Housing regulations
- Process lease agreements accurately using property management software such as Yardi
- Coordinate move-in procedures, including key distribution, contract signing, and initial property inspections
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in person, maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Support property maintenance requests by documenting issues and communicating with facilities management teams
- Uphold legal administrative practices related to landlord-tenant law
- Engage in upselling efforts by highlighting community features and available services to prospective residents
- Maintain organized records of leasing activities, contracts, and resident files through data entry and filing systems
- Assist with conflict management by addressing resident concerns professionally and escalating issues when necessary
Experience
- Previous experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is highly desirable
- Yardi
- Familiarity with lease contracts, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law enhances effectiveness in this role
- Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and conflict resolution are essential
- Office experience involving data entry, filing, and administrative support is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
