Responsibilities
- Greet prospective tenants warmly and provide comprehensive property tours to highlight key features and amenities.
- Effectively communicate rental terms, lease agreements, and application procedures while ensuring compliance with fair housing laws.
- Negotiate lease terms with applicants to reach mutually beneficial agreements that meet company standards.
- Market available units through various channels, including online listings, social media, and community outreach efforts.
- Screen applicants thoroughly by verifying income, rental history, credit reports, and conducting background checks.
- Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, applications, and correspondence within property management systems.
- Collaborate with property management staff to coordinate move-ins, lease renewals, and tenant inquiries promptly.
- Strong collections experience
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals confidently while maintaining positive relationships.
- Excellent marketing abilities to attract prospective tenants through creative outreach strategies.
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency (Spanish) is preferred to serve diverse communities effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of sales techniques combined with a thorough understanding of fair housing regulations and property management practices.
- Familiarity with real estate law and legal documentation related to leasing processes.
