Production Associate – Overnight Shift

Position Summary:
A growing food manufacturing facility in Piscataway, NJ, is seeking a dependable Production Associate to support overnight operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth production flow, ensuring product quality, and following all GMP, HACCP, safety, and sanitation guidelines. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering consistent 12-hour shifts and the chance to grow within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Follow all safety, cGMP, HACCP, and food quality procedures.

· Operate flow pack machines, change film/paper, adjust settings, and monitor output.

· Place packaging materials into machines as needed and fill finished products into baskets.

· Monitor production lines, follow specifications, and maintain accurate documentation.

Required Qualifications:

· Comfortable pushing/pulling pallets and working around moving mechanical equipment.

· Ability to work in refrigerated environments and occasionally enter a freezer.

· Flexibility to work required shifts, including training on the first shift.

· High school diploma or GED.

· Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Location & Employment Type:

· Piscataway, NJ

· Contract-to-Hire position with a minimum 3-month contract period before eligibility for permanent hire.

· Training Schedule: First shift (6:00 am–2:30pm) for approximately 3 weeks

· Regular Schedule: Overnight shift — Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:30pm–9:00 am (three 12-hour shifts)

· 4-hour incentive provided upon completion of 36 hours each week

Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: $18.00 per hour
