What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Dietitian position at PRIDEHEALTH?
Pride Health is hiring for a Clinical Dietitian to support our client’s medical facility based in Houston, TX. This is a 13-weeks assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Open to both local and travel candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate individualized nutrition care plans
- Conduct age-appropriate nutrition risk assessments, including diabetes management
- Adapt nutrition plans based on social, economic, cultural, and age-specific factors
- Reassess and update care plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on nutrition and healthy eating habits
- Assess patients’ readiness and learning needs for nutrition education
- Contribute to the development and review of educational materials and resources
Must have qualifications/experience:
- Licensed Dietitian in Texas (TDLR) – Required
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with Commission on Dietetic Registration – Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field – Required
- Clinical nutrition experience, preferably in pediatric outpatient settings
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and pediatrics
- Proficiency with computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and nutrition software

Pay Range: $1450 to $1550 weekly . (*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
