Pride One Construction is currently searching for a Commercial Project Manager to oversee the direct project activities and ensure the successful completion of the project according to the parameters of the Project Contract.

Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Construction Management preferred and/or minimum 5 years’ experience in Construction Management or related experience
- Must have OSHA-30
- Ability to travel up to 6 overnight stays per month
- Proficient in basic computer skills such as Word and Excel
- Must be organized and able to explain details/give direction or guidance to others
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees
- Proficient in both oral and written communication
Our Commercial Project Manager will:
- Maintain accountability for the successful completion of assigned projects
- Make decisions regarding human resources, such as assigning roles on projects and providing feedback on individual performance throughout the construction process
- Monitor the progress of the project throughout the construction process, provides financial and schedule reporting to VP of Construction
- Coordinate with Project Team and provide recommendations for individuals to fill construction project roles
- Create and edit the contract as per discussions with the Project Team and client
- Coordinate with the Estimator to provide subcontractor option to client, when appropriate
- Provide directions to the Site Superintendent on weekly activities, based on project schedule
- Manage and control the project schedule and costs; make modifications as needed
- Coordinate with Project Sponsor on a regular basis to discuss project status, schedule and budget
- Conduct weekly OAC Meeting to document project status and action items, assigning responsibility to each task required to complete project
- Coordinate with the Project Accountant to ensure effective communication and documentation flow about the project, including project status, subcontractor information and financial information
- Oversee the compilation of the master construction paperwork file, including the signed contract, change orders and turnover documentation
- Coordinate the post-project review activities, including evaluations and financial reviews
