Parts Shipper I (7:00am to 3:30pm)

Hourly Rate: $17.75

DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

To use RF Scanners to manually pick parts from set locations to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

•Use RF Scanner to pick parts from set locations and deliver them to Quality Inspection/Packaging area using a wheeled-cart

•Ensure proper parts and accurate quantities are picked according to order specifications 

•Package orders and prepare them for shipping using the Matrix/ProductionWare, Oracle, UPS and FedEx systems

•Use hand tools to combine smaller parts into larger assembly

•Cycle count inventory as needed and report shortages

•Use multi-step platform ladders, Pallet Jacks, and other equipment to pick and move product as needed

•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management 

•Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training

•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment 

•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations 

•Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

REQUIRED SKILLS

•Must be a team player, friendly, detail-oriented, and honest

Must have the ability to:

•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

•Utilize Pride systems

•Stand/walk entire workday

•Safely use hand tools

•Use multi-step platform ladders to safely pick orders from elevated locations

•Lift/Push/Pull up to 50lbs.

•Work extended hours, including weekends, as business needs dictate

Must have:

•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

•A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods

•Good verbal and written communication skills

•Basic computer skills

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

•No experience required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

•At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

•At least 1 year of experience using RF Scanners or similar equipment preferred

•At least 1 year of experience using ORACLE, UPS and FedEx shipping systems preferred

•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

PREFERRED EDUCATION

•High School Diploma or GED preferred
