Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at West Allis, WI! This is a 3 months contract role (with high possibility of extension) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role: Phlebotomist II
Location: West Allis, WI 53227
Shift Schedule:
- Monday – Friday | 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM (Central Time)
- Rotating Saturday & Sunday
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $25/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform skilled, accurate, and safe venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all ages.
- Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring comfort and confidence throughout the process.
- Verify patient identification and label all specimens in the patient’s presence.
- Collect, process, and prepare specimens for transport and laboratory testing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace following all safety and PPE requirements.
- Complete required records, logs, and documentation accurately and promptly.
- Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Provide coverage at multiple Patient Service Centers (PSC) and In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) locations as needed.
- Exhibit strong customer service skills and uphold the Quest Diagnostics values and compliance policies.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience – Required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
