Pride Health is hiring Phlebotomist Floater to support our client’s medical facility based in Bristol, CT. This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Title: Phlebotomist Floater
Location: Bristol, CT
Schedule: M-F 530am-1030am; Alt Saturday 7am-12pm (25 hours week)
Pay Range/Salary Range: $20 - $22
Contract Duration: 3 months
Job Description:
· The Phlebotomist III- Represents the company to patients, supporting both routine and critical health decisions.
· Collects and prepares blood samples accurately, following proper procedures.
· Build patient trust by explaining procedures and ensuring safe, skilled blood collection.
· Provides coverage across multiple locations and roles, ensuring timely and accurate operations.
· Demonstrates leadership, maintains confidentiality, and ensures data accuracy.
· May work in various settings such as clinics, patient centers, or home visits.
· Supports and guides staff, assists with onboarding, and acts as a key point of contact.
· Handles complex cases, collaborates with multiple teams, and manages high-volume workloads effectively.
Required Education:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
3. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience:
1. Five years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
2. Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
