Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Location: Manchester, CT 06042
• Job Type: Local contract
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Pay Range: $19-$24/hour
  *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Assist physicians with patient examinations and treatment in an outpatient endocrinology clinic
• Record vital signs, patient history, medications, and allergies accurately in EMR
• Perform point-of-care testing (POCT) including A1C and support CGM-related workflows
• Prepare exam rooms, maintain supplies, and ensure a clean and organized clinical environment
• Support patient flow, scheduling, and communication while maintaining high-quality patient care

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant or relevant clinical experience – Required
• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR active CT CNA, EMT, or Paramedic Certification – Required
• Knowledge of A1C, CGM, and POCT – Preferred
• Epic EMR experience – Preferred
• In lieu of education, 2 years of direct patient care experience may be considered
• Must be a local candidate within 45 minutes of clinic
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
