Float Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Float Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Middletown CT 06457. This is a 3 month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Name: Float Phlebotomist

Location: Middletown CT 06457

Duration: 3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Shift: 6 am to 6 pm Monday – Friday & every other Saturdays

Pay rate: $19 – 22 $/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Mileage reimbursement will be provided from the work location to float locations.

Responsibilities:

Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups

Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.

Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Pediatrics Phlebotomy experienced preferred

Minimum of 5 Years of phlebotomy experience required
