Position Summary:
The Phlebotomist is responsible for the collection and processing of specimens for laboratory analysis. The Phlebotomist must have good communication skills and maintain a thorough knowledge of laboratory test requirements and departmental policies. Responsibilities include adult and pediatric venipuncture, EKG's, order entry, and specimen processing.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma, or equivalent
Phlebotomy certificate or 1 year of phlebotomy experience
Basic computer skills
Previous phlebotomy experience with all age groups
2 years' experience with adult education and instructional design
