Ultrasound Technologist

Pride Health is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist support our clients in the medical facility. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location- Houston, TX
Shift:  Mon - Fri, 8 am - 5 pm
Start Date: 02/09/2026
 
Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vascular and venous sonographic studies following established KSC Radiology protocols.
• Appropriately seek physician intervention as needed during diagnostic exams.
• Apply technical principles to ensure optimal image production, considering patient anatomy, orientation, and clinical abnormalities.
• Communicate effectively with patients of varying ages and backgrounds to provide clear instructions during procedures.
• Participate in technical quality control, including routine equipment checks, maintenance, and reporting operational issues.
• Maintain and document cleaning logs and ensure adequate supply levels.

 
Education

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited program (Required)

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience in vascular ultrasound
• At least 1 year of cumulative experience in venous sonography

 
Certifications

• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) — Required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification — Required
