Salary: $95,373 – $143,059/year full benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Care Manager to lead a team of respiratory therapists across all shifts. This role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care, oversees department operations, and supports clinical and professional development of staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor respiratory therapy staff.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and standards of care.
- Monitor compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations.
- Manage performance, conduct reviews, and support professional growth.
- Oversee education, orientation, and onboarding for respiratory staff.
- Participate in regulatory inspections and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program; master’s preferred.
- NY State Respiratory Therapy license & Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- BLS required; ACLS, NRP, PALS required or within 3 months.
- Minimum 5 years acute care respiratory therapy experience; leadership experience preferred.
- Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (NPS) and CPFT credentials preferred.
