Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Pride Health is looking for QA Automation Engineer to support our client’s medical facility, which is Omaha, NE (Hybrid)

Pay range - $50 TO 55/hr on W2

Length of assignment – 13 weeks of Contract with possibility of extension

QA Automation Engineer will support a critical product development initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building automation frameworks from scratch, API validation, regression testing, and Azure DevOps integration. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality enterprise .NET web applications

.Key Responsibilitie

• sDesign, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Playwright and Selenium
• .Build and execute automated regression, functional, integration, and system test suites
• .Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• .Perform API validation using Postman
• .Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects
• .Document software defects in FreshService and Azure DevOps with detailed reproduction steps and supporting evidence
• .Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing across Web, iOS, and Android
• .Perform SQL-based data validation and database testing on Azure SQL
• .Execute performance and load testing using JMeter
• .Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release validation
• .Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UI/UX teams to validate features and bug fixes

.Required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5 years of software Quality Assurance experience
• Experience building automation frameworks for .NET web applications
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies
• Experience with Azure DevOps and FreshService
• Proficiency with Postman for API testing
• Strong SQL skills with experience validating data in Azure SQL
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Python scripting
• Experience with JMeter for performance/load testing
• Knowledge of BrowserStack Low Code Automation and accessibility (ADA) testing
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

.Preferred Qualification

• Experience designing automation frameworks using Test Automation Pyramid principles
• Ability to quickly onboard and contribute with minimal supervision in a fast-paced Agile environment
