Job title: Project Assistant
Job location: New York, NY 10041
Shift: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Pay: $30 -$34/hr without benefits
Date range approx: 8 weeks, Possible extension
Qualification/Requirements:
Three years of experience
Hospital experience required
Experience with scheduling, resource coordination, and time management in fast paced deadline driven environment.
Bachelors in health related, engineering field.
Duties:
Assist the Project Manager in completion of a variety of special and/or technical projects, reports, and other related duties. Perform full range of administrative and office support functions to facilitate efficient and effective operation of the Department
- Support all aspects of assigned project lifecycles including planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain templates/tools to track project progress and manage project status updates.
- Monitor project progress and deliverables; proactively escalate issues and risks.
- Serve as a point of contact for Hospitals departments, City agencies, and contracted vendors.
- Assist in planning and conducting trainings, including creating training materials.
- Provide on-site support for project implementation and oversight.
- Provide policy and operational support/guidance and help improve service delivery strategies.
- Assist in reviewing and approving invoices and provide budgetary planning recommendations.
