Product Development Technician

Pride Health is seeking a Product Development Technician for an American multinational conglomerate operating in the fields of industry, worker safety, healthcare, and consumer goods.

Job Title: Product Development Technician

Location: St. Paul, MN (on-site)

Job Type: Contract

Length: 12-Months

Hours: Some flexibility, 8:00am – 5:00pm typical

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Summary:

Technician/Technologist needed to lead or support the development of new products in Energy Markets. Duties will include supporting protype product testing and pilot line trials to guide decisions on materials and constructions.

Responsibilities:

• Closely interacting with Company scientists as a team to carryout experiments and testing
• Documenting observations and results in technical notebooks. Assisting in data summarization and preparation of final reports. Reporting test results to appropriate staff.
• Coordinating equipment calibrations to ensure accurate calculations of test data.
• Performing routine lab duties, including shipping and storing of samples.
• Operating equipment in Company's pilot line facilities
• Most products will be associated with electric vehicles

Requirements:

• Possess an Associates/Two (2) year technical degree or higher
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a laboratory setting within a private, public, government or military environment.

Preferences:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Able to accept projects from multiple team members, prioritize, and complete with little supervision.
• Work well in a team environment and able to handle changing project priorities.
• Experience with adhesives and tapes
• Experience working on a cross-functional team.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Self-starter, self-motivated, positive work style.

PPE: Safety glasses and steel toe boots required
