Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare facility in Anchorage, AK. This is a 13 weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Location: Anchorage, AK 99503

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay Range: $19-21/hour*

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture accurately and safely.
• Provide professional and compassionate care to patients throughout the collection process.
• Register patients and accurately verify patient information.
• Process and prepare specimens according to established laboratory procedures.
• Maintain accurate specimen identification, labeling, and documentation.
• Follow all applicable safety, infection control, and laboratory procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Years of experience: Minimum 1-2 years of phlebotomy/specimen experience – REQUIRED
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
