Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare facility in Oldsmar, FL. This is a 13 weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift | Eastern Time

Location: Oldsmar, FL 34677

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay Range: $19-21/hour*

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Perform specimen collection for pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Prepare, process, label, and handle specimens according to established procedures.
• Follow established practices and procedures for clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing.
• Verify patient information and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Provide clear explanations of procedures and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure accuracy of patient information.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Years of experience: Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
