Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our clients in the medical facility. This is a 3 months contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title - Phlebotomist
Job Type: Contract
Location- McKinney, TX 75070
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm/ 40 hrs/ week
Pay - $21 to $23/ hr on W2
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Phlebotomist to join our team. This role is focused on performing high-volume blood draws in a clinical setting while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accurate specimen collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws (venipuncture) on patients (100% of daily duties)
- Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all clinical and safety protocols
- Provide professional and compassionate patient interaction
- Support clinic workflow by maintaining efficiency and accuracy
- 2-3 years of phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy Certification (required)
- BLS Certification (required)
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) - highly preferred
