Pride Health is actively hiring a Medical Physicist to support the oncology team at Atlanta, GA 30342. This is a travel contract ideal for a professional with a strong background in radiation oncology physics and hands-on experience with modern treatment equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe and effective delivery of radiation treatments in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Calibrate and maintain radiation therapy equipment including Varian Truebeam, Trilogy, IX, and Bravos HDR.
- Perform patient-specific QA, dose calculations, and treatment plan verifications using Eclipse Treatment Planning.
- Work collaboratively with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize ARIA EMR and Record & Verify systems for treatment documentation.
- Support a patient load of approximately 40 individuals in a busy cancer center.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Medical Physics or a related field (Required)
- Certification: ABR Certified or Board Eligible
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in radiation oncology physics (Required)
- BLS Certification: American Heart Association
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Varian linear accelerators and Eclipse TPS; experience using ARIA R&V system

- Shift: 8-hour days, 7:30 AM-4: 30 PM, Monday to Friday
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Pay Rate: $130 - $140/hour
