Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Location: Willimantic, CT 06226
- Department: Cardiology
- Job Type: Local Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extension
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Pay Rate: $19 - $24/hour
Duties:
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Assist providers with examinations and clinical procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records in EMR (EPIC preferred)
- Support patient flow and clinic operations
- Schedule appointments and assist with patient communication
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared
- Provide general administrative and clinical support
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED – Required
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a clinic setting – Required
- EPIC experience – Preferred
- Cardiology experience – Preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) – Preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
