Infection Prevention Specialist

Up to 21 Hours per Week
π 16-Week Contract
β° Schedule: 8:00 AM β 5:00 PM (Weekends Included)
Requirements
β High School Diploma or GED with matriculation in a 2-year or 4-year college program
β Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
β Ability to work with diverse patient and community populations
β Must be willing to travel across all 8 Campuses
Responsibilities
- Monitor hand hygiene compliance and infection prevention practices
- Observe staff adherence to isolation precautions and PPE requirements
- Conduct quality assurance checks on shared mobile equipment
- Educate healthcare workers on infection prevention best practices
- Document and communicate observation findings to leadership teams
- Support compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and Department of Health standards
- Travel between hospital campuses to conduct observations and audits
