Float Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring for a Float Phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility based in Naples FL 34104.

This is a Temp-To-Hire with a possibility of extension and conversion into a full time, opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Float Phlebotomist II

Location: Naples FL 34104

Schedule: Monday- Friday-shifts vary 5am-4pm. Rotational Saturday 6am-11:30-12pm. EST

Pay Range: $20 to $24/hr.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.

Responsibilities:

• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe and accurate manner.
• Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
• Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.

Education/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• THREE years phlebotomy experience REQUIRED, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Floaters travel in between multiple sites and are expected to be on time at whatever site they are covering for that day. They must also have a clean driving record. Floaters are able to submit mileage for expense reimbursement.
