Job Details:
Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM
Location: Portland, OR
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 3 Months possibility of an extension
Pay Range: $22/hr. - $25/hr. on W2
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Duties:
- Reviews provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications; monitors applications and follows up as needed.
- Compiles and maintains current and accurate data for all providers.
- Audits health plan directories for current and accurate provider information and assists with payer audits.
- Sets up and maintains provider information in online credentialing databases and system.
- Education: Associate degree
Years of experience: 3 years of medical staff credentialing experience in a healthcare or insurance provider setting.3 years’ experience performing data collection or data analysis using complex database software systems
