Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Contract Duration: 26 Weeks

Role Overview:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care and health monitoring services for youth residents within the facility. Responsibilities include medication administration, maintaining medical inventory, infection control, health assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and maintain accurate medication records, including controlled substances
- Monitor and evaluate the overall health condition of residents
- Develop, review, and implement nursing intervention and treatment plans
- Ensure nursing interventions align with comprehensive care plans
- Maintain infection control standards and safety protocols
- Prepare required clinical and administrative documentation and reports
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and interdisciplinary care planning
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and facility staff to support patient care goals
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with facility guidelines
- Support a safe and therapeutic environment for youth residents
Requirements:
- Active New York State RN License required
- Current AHA BLS Certification required
- Previous nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a residential behavioral health/correctional care environment
- Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
- Must be comfortable working overnight shifts
