Medical Chart Processing
- Receive, process, organize, and archive medical records.
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and medical record regulations.
- Conduct audits to ensure chart accuracy and completeness.
- Process medical charts through systems such as SFTP.
- Maintain organized chart storage systems.
- Receive, sort, distribute, and prepare incoming/outgoing mail and packages.
- Maintain mailroom supplies and equipment.
- Assist with filing, scanning, and administrative tasks.
- Contact providers to verify parcel information or obtain passwords/access credentials.
- Support different departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain confidentiality of PHI/PII information.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Lift and transport boxes of medical records up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in medical records or administrative support preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, scanning functions, and office equipment.
- Salesforce CRM experience preferred.
